We Create our Negative Emotions

sitting-alone

In this video we will speak about a new belief system that we need to install within our system, The belief system that we are the creators of any negative emotions that arise in our daily life. We are also the creators of any positive emotions that arise in our daily lives.

Now many would question why will I ever create fear in my life? Why would I ever want to create worry in my life? Why would I want to create anger in my life? It seems impossible that we are creating this. We always think that it is the circumstance or situation that creates this within us or it could be a particular person that creates these negative emotions within us.

The fact is that it is our mind that creates these emotions within us. The mind is so attached to certain thinking patterns, that all it needs is a stimulus on the outside to trigger this negative emotion within us. A small stimulus, a persons habit that could trigger anger within us, a person not coming on time, for parents if their children are not home in time it could trigger the emotion of worry /  fear within them. If you are not doing something that is entertaining enough or exciting enough, you could get bored in your house. So the mind creates the emotion of boredom.

So our initiative should be to free our mind from this compulsive behaviour, from the attachment to all these thinking patterns, the attachment to all these concepts that we are not aware off. And the only way you can dissolve this unconsciousness within yourself is by adding a lot of consciousness in your daily life.

By being conscious on a daily basis, by inviting consciousness to be a part of your daily life. Repeatedly, you need to do it repeatedly again, and again and again, every hour maybe you are spending just one minute in total consciousness of yourself. You are giving your mind the chance to engage in the awareness of who you truly are.

I call it the practice of self awareness of finding yourself everyday, finding your true self. I practice it myself, I find myself everyday. It helps me stay calm and peaceful. My mind is stabilized be this practice.

When you take responsibility for whatever you are feeling during the day, for whatever is happening to you within and address it with consciousness… for example something has happened and you are feeling angry about it, or worrying about it, just bring in consciousness by being aware of yourself or start finding yourself at that point of time.

Try to stop the unconscious thoughts that are triggering this negative emotion within you. Whatever harm it has already done, it may have spilled some chemicals within you which is already creating this negative emotion, but you can stop it there and there, you and choose to stop it be being aware of yourself and engaging your mind in the awareness of who you truly are.
