In this video I would like to talk about how often in the day we take consciousness breaks or a break from unconsciousness. The way most of us live our life, we are 85% – 90% of the day unconscious.
We are just following our routine doing one thing after another in an automated fashion. The result of living like this is we end up going through a lot of unconscious negative emotions. Sometimes even without knowing about it. Sometimes we wonder why are we getting angry so often, why am I feeling low. In this video I would like to discuss “Happiness from the outside in approach”. That is deriving Happiness from an outside in approach, is it really worth it or not.
What I mean from an outside in approach is, something needs to happen on the outside, a certain outcome and then we create happiness within. We have got into this belief system right from a very small age. When we were bought a new toy we used to be happy and our parents used to confirm to us, you are given whatever you want you need to be happy.
The more I think about it the more I realize that I really let my fears and worries get out of hand. I find myself worrying mostly about the big picture basically things out of my control but now a lot of other stuff has come up that my family has to deal with.
The thing is I don’t know how to stop worrying about such things. This is a bad habit of mine that I’ve just can’t seem to get over. Another problem I have is my mindset, it seems like whenever something negative happens that catches my attention its all I can think about. I’ve been having trouble trying to change my mindset so I’m not so focused on every little bad thing that happens.
In this video we will address awareness. How we can practice awareness and rise up in life.
Rise up from the situations that are causing us hurt. Rise up from the belief system that “Life is very hard, it is not fair to us.”
